Our digipak consists mainly of close ups on the artists face. We chose this layout because it allows the audience to gain facial recognition of the artist which means they associate her more with her music and will be able to recognise her in the future. This is especially important for an up and coming female solo artist such as Maia. 

However our decision to only have pictures of the artist on the digipak does challenge typical conventions of pop artist's digipaks. We made this decision because having the digipak this way underlines Maia's stylish, alternative persona, which appeals to our target audience of teenage girls, for whom beauty and fashion are key interests.
