For Maia's music video, we used pink lighting throughout to emphasise the sensual mood of the song. We were inspired by Petra Collins and Maya Toledano's photography and other pop music videos which they have directed, such as Garden City Movement's video for 'She's so Untouchable'.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We were also inspired by the faded pink lighting in Leisure Suite's video for 'Heavy Head' :

We also used a mesh curtain as a sort of 'soft box' in order to diffuse the lighting. This meant that the lighting wasn't too harsh on the artist's face and it also eliminated any unattractive shadows, thus adding to her feminine, desirable star image
